SATISH ASHOK POTDAR

Satish holds a strong belief that art is a powerful means of expressing human emotions. Hailing from Solapur, a city in Maharashtra, he embarked on his artistic journey by pursuing an Art Teacher Diploma. Driven by his passion for fine arts, he went on to earn a degree in Fine Arts from the prestigious JJ Institute of Applied Arts in Mumbai. Thereafter, he had the honor of studying filmmaking at the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune,

a coveted opportunity that allowed him to hone his skills in this field.

As a Production Designer, he considers it his top priority to create designs that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also capture the essence of the story being told. He accomplishes this through careful attention to details such as sets, costumes, characters,

and their appearance. He firmly believes that the best way to learn the art of cinema is through hands-on experience.

In addition to his impressive background in production design, this versatile artist has

also garnered extensive experience in interior design and graphic design. He has even directed and produced several award-winning short and feature films, both nationally and internationally. Through his work with Three Colours Design Studio, he aims to utilize art, film, and human connections to tell compelling stories that resonate with people on a deeply emotional level.
